peoria arizona wedding photographer : carol + steve

Carol made an absolutely stunning bride. Steve thought the exact same as I captured his expression as they saw each other for the "First Look". As here comes the bride played, Carol slowly floated past the bamboo chair post leading to the swirly white rose petal path where she saw a bamboo alter covered in diamond like beads and water lilies handing behind here husband to be. Reverend made the ceremony perfectly fit their style, full of laughter. As the I do's were said and Reverend pronounced them husband and wife, he said, " I will give you a piece of chocolate if you kiss her right." The guest laughed as Steve's face lit up! He pulled his new wife, Carol in and "kissed her right" to earn himself a piece of Hershey chocolate.

The reception was jump started as the guest walked in in amazement when the reception room was revealed. Thee Wedding Warehouse did a fabulous job with the floral/decor! Each table contained a glass vase which held lilies, polished stones, and bamboo submerged in water surrounded by lit candles. Still starring in amazement the guest slowly found there seats at each oriental themed table. As soon as all were seated Carol and Steve began to dance their first dance. The new wife and husband looked amazing as they glided across the large dance floor with some dips and spins. Earlier in the day Steve laughed as he admitted to me he was so nervous for their first dance...awww! He was not a dancer watch-so-ever (as were Carol was)- they had been taking dance lessons and had been practicing on a choreographed dance. Steve did PERFECT as Carol whispered to him the next dance move! This soon started a dance epidemic as couples rushed to the dance floor, as Kevin with Fanning Flame Entertainment played some classic dance songs. Boy this group sure loved to dance, it just does not matter what age you are :) Once the dancing started no one could seem to stop, especially to bride!

I have to tell you that I had so much fun the entire day with Carol and Steve, there was always laugher in the air no matter what was going on- such a happy day for the both of them! And I just loved being around them as their TRUE LOVE for each other just was aglow around them. This was Carol's 1st marriage, and I was so happy for her as I knew that she had found her Prince Charming! Thank you for having me be apart of this special day, I wish you all the happiness!

Ok ok, and now on to the photos :)

litchfield arizona wedding photographer: jennifer + jeffery

Who knew Starbucks created lifelong relationships too? Jennifer and Jeffery met while getting coffees, numbers were exchanged all because Jennifer was brave enough to go ask this tall handsome guy....and the waiting begin. Soon as he got the courage to call her, their love blossomed into a beautiful marriage.

At the ceremony there were white rose petals that ran down the aisle as well as peacock feathers, lilies, and purple ribbons gracefully tied to the chairs the guest sat in. After the "I do's" and the kisses, the bride danced down the aisle with her new husband to "Just The Way You Are", by Bruno Mars.

The Starbucks theme continued into the reception. The seating arrangements were listed on a chalk board, tables were set up based upon drink ideas...drinks ranging from Iced Mocha coffees to Lattes. The room had the aroma of coffee beans that were incorporated into their centerpieces, as the bride's sister and friend began to embarrass and poke fun at the bride and groom during their speeches. As laughter fill the room dinner was served, some guest ate while others mingled. As soon as the music began to play everyone was out on the dance floor ready to dance the night away.

Congrats Jennifer and Jeffery!!

I also had to share some of the fun that goes on!....Carl Anderson from Princess Bride Cinematic Video was instructed by one of the bridesmaids to lift me up as we posed for a photo and a little video! Oh my!!! Here we go.....Sorry Carl if I injured your back.
Goooooo Team Fire and Ice, baby!!!

litchfield arizona wedding photographer: lisa + garrett

Lisa and Garrett tied the knot on October 9th. We did the "first look" and formals at the beautiful grounds of The Wigwam Resort & Spa. Lisa and I had also set up a surprise "first look" with her father, which was such a touching moment as well! We then headed to the Christ Presbyterian Church of Goodyear for the ceremony. Their reception took place at the wonderful location of Pebble Creek Tuscany Falls. The room was decorated beautifully by Thee Wedding Warehouse home of Endearing Floral Design, who also did a fabulous job on the bouquets and florals for their wedding. Garrett had proposed to Lisa in Italy, yes so romantic huh?! I have to say I truly haven't seen a groom that was sincerely so happy and so laid back as Garrett was. He seriously had a smile on his face all day long...love it! :) I am so very excited for these two has they begin their lives together has husband and wife with the wonderful news that they are expecting their first child!! Congrats Lisa and Garrett!

arizona wedding photographer: katrina + mike

This wedding included Katrina and Mike's adorable four children and two additional beautiful little girls, here are the flower girls showing their cuteness! It was beautiful October weather here in Arizona with an amazing sunset, yep no Photoshop work there lol! Love doing a "first looks", make it so much more relaxed on capturing all of the formals prior to the ceremony! Their weddings vows were letters that they had wrote to each other that were filled with some great feelings and emotion, that offered a unique/personal touch. Captured their son with his unexpected speech that made him tear up, he was so sweet! The best man and maid of honor were not expecting this little gift lol :) Here's a little sneak peek of their day. Congrats Katrina and Mike!

cavecreek arizona wedding photographer: kim + frank

Kim and Frank had a very fun and unique wedding to say the least! These two had nothing but true love for each other- I do believe in "opposites attract", because of the light the glowed from their eyes and the "perma-grin" these two had all day and night reflected that their love would last forever!

Their "first look" took place at he gorgeous Carefree Inn Resort & Villas. This location allowed for some beautiful shots of them as they excitedly saw each other for the first time on their wedding day before the ceremony.

Kim and Frank's wedding had an aspect that was different from most wedding. Who gets to do a photo shoot at their horse stable on their wedding day? KIM & FRANK!! I was so excited when Kim had requested this. Going to this location was very important to them since they unfortunately they will be selling their horses. So capturing this memory with the two of them meant a lot to them--So I made sure this happened!!

Cody's- Eat, Drink & Get Hitched in Cave Creek was an awesome and perfect location to have their wedding ceremony and reception. This venue was such a unique place to have a wedding--it was a very intimate setting both inside and out, and it lent itself to a background for some beautiful images!

Without further a do.....
Congrats Kim and Frank, and thank you for having me be part of your wedding day!! All the best!

Frank had about 8-9 flower vases delivered to Kim that was put throughout the room :)

So excited to see each other!

Kim's son gave her hand in permission to Frank.
